The EUROVIA CS Group is a socially responsible company which takes pride in maintaining a thorough, professional and responsible approach towards its partners, customers, the public and the environment.
The civil engineering and construction is the industry leaving behind its activities marked traces on our landscape. However, at the same time, it improves the quality of life and positively affects the lifestyle of people. Also EUROVIA CS wishes to contribute to this.
We consider our partnership in the Project “Rozhlédni se!” (Look Around) to be essential in the field of social responsibility.
It is an educational project of the Nadační fond Kolečko (Little Bike Endowment Fund) in the field of road traffic safety. Its activities are nationwide and mainly focused on children under 10 in nursery and basic schools, and children’s homes.
As a company operating in the field of road construction, we are well aware of the urgent need of precautionary measures primarily in case of little children. We appreciate similar activities and are very glad to have an opportunity to cooperate with the Nadační fond Kolečko, and become a proud partner in the “Rozhlédni se!” project.
The project “Rozhlédni se!” is based on the interactive training of skills drawing children’s attention, in the appropriate manner, to risks facing them on sidewalks and roads. On 1 June 2011, in the Czech Police Museum in Prague, the new face and communication style of this project were presented. We decided for a more fancy conception of overall presentation of this project, and to create a simple story. Therefore, new friends, Matěj (Matthew) with his sister Lucie (Lucy) and Mr. Rajče (Tomato) shall guide the children through the project. Based on our experience from the last year, we have also changed the form of educational training and interactive games. We focused more on their practical forms (hands-on training) so that children could better remember all new pieces of information.
The project is implemented in cooperation with the Czech Police Museum. An important partner in this project is also the Czech Federation of Children’s Homes.
